What we do

RiotCreations is the platform for designers from around the world and all t-shirt aficionados. At RiotCreations it is our mission to jointly improve the world all around the chest solely by the means of Crowdsourcing, design, and sustainable materials.

Designers present their t-shirt designs in monthly competitions. The community, the RiotCrowd, is the jury and votes their favorite motives. The three most favored designs will be produced by RiotCreations and sold via our online shop and carefully selected retail partners.

The winners of either the CrowdAward or the JuryAward receive 500,- € in price money and an extra 1,- € commission for each T-Shirt sold with their design on it!

 

Everyone can join in and become a member of the RiotCrowd. Everyone is free to submit their contribution to the competition, as long as it goes along with with our guidelines. T-Shirts are just the beginning! For the future we are planning to establish more product lines. One of which we already realized is the RiotBaby line made of 100% Organic Cotton.

 

Streetwear becomes Greenwear

 

We believe in Charma – or at least in the golden rule: shit comes back to you. We see ourselves as pragmatic ideologists. Eco-sustainability and human working conditions along the production process of our T-Shirts are our minimum demand for quality. 

 

T-Shirts from RiotCreations fulfill the highest social and environmental standards. All shirts are certified by the Dutch Fairwear Foundation. That way working conditions according to the International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) standards are maintained through-out the production process. These standards include (among others) that employment is freely chosen, there is no discrimination in employment, no exploitation of child labour, freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining, payment of a living wage, no excessive working hours, safe and healthy working conditions, legally-binding employment relationship.

  

T-Shirt-Lines

RiotSelection: The design T-Shirts are – whenever possible – made out of 100% Organic Cotton and complying with the Organic Textile Standard and certified by the British Soil Association and the Fairwear Foundation.

RiotBasics: Super-soft, uni T-Shirts made out of 70% Viscose und 30% Organic Cotton. The raw material for the viscose is fast-growing bamboo.

SmartCasual: Polo shirts made out of pure Organic Cotton. During production, a special eye is kept on reducing CO² emissions to a minimum. The manufacturer is using solar and wind power to reduce CO² emissions during production by up to 90% compared to conventional production.

Ian M. Schomber and Sebastian Veit, founders of RiotCreations

Before starting RiotCreations Sebastian Veit (26) managed the International Sales Team of the leading Microsoft Business Solutions Partner, in their China Headquarter in Shanghai. During his MBA at the MannheimBusinessSchool he got to know Ian M. Schomber (33). Ian started his way into the advertising industry as a fashion photographer in Mannheim. He then started Picture Pond Interactive in Darmstadt. He was responsible for text and conception and studied at the same time Politics and German language and literature. By founding RiotCreations both allowed their affection for fashion and people to become their new profession.
